A scoring question. Is the 20-point exact-victory-margin bonus in addition to the 20 points that you'd get for that correct call? That is 20 - 0 = 20 points ... plus 20 more = 40 points for that game. (50 actually, because you'd get 10 more points for getting the winner correct.)

Another question: On regular (non-lock) picks, scoring margin points are awarded as 20 minus the number of points our predicted margin is from the actual margin. Will this stop at zero ... or are negative margin points possible? (Example, I pick a 5-point victory; but the actual margin is 30, a difference of 25 points. 20 minus 25 = -5. )

Yes, You would get 10 for the right team, 20 pts plus a bonus 20 for being dead on. Each game has a maximum of 100 points, 50 points described above, and 50 if you lock the range and get it correct.

How are we handling the national championship game? Right now, it is listed for Week 15, but the teams are blank.

The deadline for each week's contest is typically on THURSDAY, 6 p.m. Central time.
