3 players within 10 points of top and 6 within 100 or so... anything can happen

Indeed! Two of the top 3 chose the nation's leading rushing team -- New Mexico -- to be in the Top 3 for rushing yards, and that's not going to happen. In the very first bowl game, UTSA substantially stifled the Lobos' ground game ...outrunning them 246 - 219, and that lower number will surely not hold up in 3rd place. App State gained 297 in their game, for example.
The other three in the Top 5 chose Army, with UM Ftbal Tiger picking the Knights to "place", not just "show."
The ultimate winner may be someone fortunate enough to hit several victory margins on the nose.

Navy moved into the top spot by rushing for 300 yards in its loss to LaTech.
App State is currently in 2nd with 297. Western Kentucky is one ahead of Tulsa -- 262-261 -- for 3rd.
Army, the choice of three of the Top Five in the current leaderboard, meets North Texas in an hour.

Army rushed for 175 in the first quarter! Wow!
Halftime: 294 yards rushing for Army.

Final total for Army: 480 rushing yards (on 74 attempts, BTW).

That is going to be tough to beat. 84SPORT is in first, but he is out of contention for the bonus.

Mike77 has the advantage, if Army stays in the top three. I'm behind, but differ with him on only three games still to play: TCU/Georgia; Louisville/LSU & Oklahoma/Auburn. (My Auburn choice was actually a mistake; Grrr!) If they all go my way, I have a chance to catch him. A few others have an outside chance if they hit quite a few scores on the nose. UM Ftbal Tiger, for example, could gain 25 points with his Army "Place" bet, but his future picks are identical to Mike77's, so he can only advance further with perfect-margin bonuses.

84SPORT now has a 51 point lead, if he can maintain that, then he will put the bonus out of play.

Indeed! 84SPORT and Mike77 differ on only three more games: Nebraska-Tennessee; LSU-Louisville and Kentucky-Georgia Tech. Unless one makes substantially more perfect-margin predictions than the other, the one who wins two or more of those three games should have the advantage heading into the final page of games.

WooHoo!! I hope my Auburn (mistake) pick doesn't come back to haunt me. Mike77 and I should pass 84SPORT on the Bonus Points (unless he has a couple of perfect-margin picks). But aside from Auburn-Oklahoma, Mike77 and I differ by only 4, 10 and 7 points in three of the remaining games: Iowa (3 & 7), Wisconsin (4 & 14) and Alabama (17 & 10). It should be a super-tight finish! It does seem likely that a Mike will win. :-)

Unless my 17-point-margin Alabama win in the Championship Game is on-the-nose, Mike77 will win. Our Army-Show Bonus picks will give us 50 points to pass both 84 SPORT and AEOS. But the 7-point difference in our championship Game picks -- 17 & 10 -- is not enough for me to overcome the 19-point difference in any other game result.I'll be rooting for Sark to dial up some successful surprises against the revenge-seeking Tigers. Roll Tide!! :-)

Going into the final Championship Game, I see the Bonus Question rushing yards ranking as: 1-Army (480); -- 2-Navy (300); -- 3-AppState (297); -- 4-Alabama1 (269); -- 5-GaTech (266); -- 6-WKU (262); -- 7-Tulsa (261); -- 8-Utah (256) -- T9-Northwestern/Georgia (248); -- 11-UTSA (246). ((Corrections encouraged!!)

I nailed that 17 point margin in the semi-final. Good luck on them having that margin two games in a row. If they win by 10, I get to move up to 23rd!

Congratulations, Mike77!! Right down to the wire. That was an epic 4th quarter, even if none of us had picked Clemson. The only chance I had was with a perfect 17-point 'Bama win, and that wasn't happening tonight.
