... There are nine folks within 100 points of the leader, Mike77 (3,206 points). But there's lots of unanimity within that group: All game-winners are the same, except only six chose Wisconsin and seven sided with San Diego State. All nine also chose Navy in the Bonus Question (rushing attempts); but #4 and #6 through #9 all chose the Middies to WIN. The top three were more conservative: Show, Place & Show, respectively. Will it cost them?

Absolutely NOT conservative is #8 sabresbills04 (3,037 points). He chose Navy to WIN and locked EVERY one of his picks. He's all in this weekend!

BTW, the 21 top folks in the standings all chose Navy in the Bonus Question: 11 to win, 4 to place, 5 to show and 1 no-bet. #22 & #25 selected Western Michigan to win and show, respectively.

The Broncos win by only six tonight. #11 wrysal is closest, with a prediction of 10 points. But sabresbills04 missed his first locked game ... and Western Michigan's 44 rushing attempts (including a couple of game-ending kneeldowns) is close to their season average of 45, but still 13 shy of Navy's average of 57.

Washington ran 54 times in tonight's Pac-12 championship win -- also including a couple of last-minute kneeldowns. That's very close to the Navy average (57). (The Huskies were only 9 for 24 passing!) Will the Temple Owls keep the Middies from winning the Bonus Question early Saturday?

Navy had a disastrous day! Temple sped to a 21-0 lead, and "smothered" Navy's running game. The Middies ran 44 times, currently in a tie for 3rd place with Western Michigan. Washington leads with 54 rushing attempts; Oklahoma is second with 52. Will anyone in today's late games knock Navy out of the money?

Yes! Both San Diego State (53) and Wisconsin (49) in the late games top Navy's 44 rushing attempts. The Middies end up T5, while the Huskies (54), Aztecs and Sooners (52) -- who none of us chose -- are the top three.
