"The Conference USA football game between Old Dominion and Charlotte has been moved to Thursday at 4 p.m. in Charlotte, North Carolina due to the arrival of poor weather conditions expected this weekend from Hurricane Florence."

This new start time is 3 hours ahead of the traditional Pickem deadline (Thursday @6 p.m. Central time). Will the deadline be moved up? Or the game withdrawn from the contest, since it will likely be nearly over at deadline time?

Appalachian State (which is hosting USM Saturday afternoon) and South Carolina (which is hosting Marshall Saturday night) are monitoring the storm and its possible affects on their games.

Any games played before the deadline will not count in the standings.

Thanks, ICB, for the ruling. FTR, both of the other games involving C-USA teams that I mentioned above have also now been cancelled: USM @AppState & Marshall @South Carolina. The former may be rescheduled. Neither are playing on Oct. 6, but to play then, App State would have to push back its Tuesday (Oct. 9) ESPN2 game @Arkansas State.
