In the Outback Bowl, Iowa upsets Mississippi State, 27-22, despite gaining just 200 yards. Midway in 4Q, a Bulldog WR bobbled a go-ahead TD pass into the hands of a Hawkeye defender for an interception. MSU got two more possessions, but couldn't score. > _ _ = = + + = = _ _ < Iowa's win is good news for crafdog, who should move into 3rd place.

LSU dominated UCF, winning by 8 in the Fiesta Bowl. Motley Blazer had picked the Knights to win ... and probably needed it win the title, if autiger's currently successful Bonus Question pick (Missouri/Place) holds. My unofficial tally has autiger ahead by 27 points with three bowl games remaining ... and autiger's Oklahoma pick did not make the Championship game. (Note: 50-point perfect-margin picks are not covered in my predictions. :-) )

In the Citrus Bowl, "possibly Kentucky's best team ever" defeated Penn State, 27-24. The Nittany Lion kicker missed two shortish second-half field goals (34 & 32 yards). Monarchfan91, 12th in the posted leaderboard, was the only contestant on the first page to pick Kentucky to win ... and he stands to move up quite a few spots in his crowded section of the standings (5th through 13th place are separated by just 34 points).

After 1Q, Georgia has tallied only 8 total yards, is behind 10-0 and just gave Texas a fumble deep in its own Red Zone. This is probably not the start expected by ALL the first-page leaderboard players who picked the Bulldogs to win ... and the four who thought Georgia would earn them Bonus Question points. (Texas scores on the first play of 2Q; leads 17-0!) Autiger should be happy, though, as a Georgia failure nearly ensure his Pickem victory.

BTW, Bevo (Texas' longhorn steer mascot) was so fired up before tonight's game that he charged Georgia's mascot (Uga, a bulldog) before the game. See the details and video here: https://abc13.com/sports/texas-mascot-attacks-georgias-bulldog-prior-to-bowl-game/5001627/

Texas leads 20-7 at halftime ... and 178 - 118 in total yardage. Georgia has a LONG way to if it's going to top Missouri's 637 yards and give Motley Blazer a chance to win.
