Except for North Texas' road upset at FAU, Thursday's game results were predictble, but Fearless Leader ICB took it to a new level, picking not only the Mean Green win, but also getting three games' victory margins on the nose (Rice, UTSA & Duke)!! He did miss with ODU, but his 197 points vaulted our Commish from 20th to 15th place. (ICB has is also backing NT and ODU on Saturday!)>XXX<

At the top of the leaderboard, backcourt (3,540 overall/132 so far this week) expanded his lead a little over Monkey Phonics (3,477/120), but his advantage will increase by 29 when the UCLA win is posted. He (and 3rd place UM Ftball Tiger) were off by just one point.>XXX<

The Bonus Question (Field Goals Made) tally looks like UAB (34) and UCLA & UNC (32 each), with Rice (31), FIU & Duke (30 each) just out of the money. >XXX<

On the front page of the leaderboard, eight players -- including three of the top five -- picked UCLA to Show. (One had the Bruins to win, which won't happen.) Monkey Phonics has the Tar Heels to Show, while only 26th place CeloBlaze picked UAB (to Place, too). Other picks were Middle Tennessee (1 win, 1 place, 3 show); Gonzaga (3 show); Rice (1 place, 1 show); Western Kentucky (2 show) and now out-of-the-money Duke (show) & Oregon (show).

Congrats, ICB. Such accuracy -- 5 on-the-nose picks -- must a record. (Do you have an Elias Sports-type data-mining program that can analyze past Pickem results? :-)
